Virtuoso Pianist Mia Vassilev started playing (or making noise) from the age of 3 and has performed throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the US.

Recordings include Several Times, the chamber music of Dennis Kam, released by Navona Records, the Naxos album Del Caribe, Soy!, Ecstatic Records’ MIAMI GRANDS, composed by Michael Torke.
Most recently Mia has released her solo albums, VELVET NIGHTNOTES and PIANO ON THE RUN! She has also released six singles – MOONLIGHT SERENADE, SLEEPWALK, STARDUST, BESAME MUCHO, BLUE MOON, and the proclaimed Classical genre and Electronic Dance Music genre mix TOCCATA.

She holds degrees, awards and assistantships to the doctoral level from Kansas State University, the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, and University of Miami’s Frost School of Music and was a New World Symphony piano fellow.

Mia has worked as a chamber musician and opera accompanist, working for tours and production rehearsals with the Metropolitan Opera (NY), Glimmerglass Opera (NY), Florida Grand Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Opera Theatre and Music Festival of Lucca, Italy, the American Institute of Musical Studies Festival in Graz, Austria. She has produced and directed epic 10-piano original shows locally. She currently performs her solo shows nationally.

Mia’s hobbies include falling down in skis at high speeds and reading Ayn Rand. Mia is originally from a small town in Kansas and based in Miami Beach.
